Date: 15/07/2019

The UK’s Trucking magazine has given the thumbs-up to Aguri’s new TX750 sat nav with Freeview TV.

The leading magazine highlighted the Aguri Truck TX750 in its June 2019 edition with editor Andy Stewart writing “we’ve trialled it and the device performs well.”

Trucking magazine has the broadest truck industry readership in the UK, a huge print and digital readership of 63,000, and its expert journalism is proudly independent and unbiased. We’re delighted to receive a good review from such a trusted and respected trade publication. Trucking magazine plans to publish a follow-up in-depth review soon.

The magazine highlights how the TX750 DVR Freeview TV Edition has over 100 free channels which works wherever there is a good digital TV reception without the need to connects to the internet.

The device also has the latest, professional truck navigation software and speed trap database pre-installed, making it ready to use straight from the box.

It includes a built-in high definition dash-cam, high resolution super-bright 7” LCD screen with superb off-axis viewing, wi-fi and free map updates for life.

Truck drivers can wirelessly update navigation maps and software for free, browse the internet and download their favourite Apps from the Google Play store. The device comes with a robust, shock-resistant protective case suited for the toughest environments.

Speaking about the new Freeview TV truck sat-nav, Aguri co-founder Steven Ballard said: “Truck drivers spend significant time in cabins resting or waiting to deliver or receive goods. Drivers are legally required to take breaks every four hours and have regularly periods of ‘down-time’ inside the cabin.

“This new device is our flagship truck product. It’s better quality than many other brands in the truck market and offers the very-latest route information and excellent user-experience.

“While its primary purpose is to navigate large vehicles along routes avoiding obstructions such as low bridges or weight restrictions, we wanted to add extra value to the device by offering something different to other brands.

“It has Freeview digital TV any time, without any charge, 16GB of internal memory and a fantastic processor. It also has wi-fi, a dashcam and a digital speed camera detector. It’s a great product.

“Aguri also provides excellent customer service including fast updates of routing information. Our routing is already great but we optimise it even further, and make it more amazing, with feedback from the hundreds of users in our truck sat nav community. We are the only manufacturer that really encourages feedback to further-optimise routing.

“We offer the UK truck industry the most up-to-date route navigation information and strong customer service. This includes online and telephone support teams, a pledge to answer all weekday customer queries within 24 hours, and regular software updates for devices.

“Aguri has built a strong reputation in the truck market for quality sat navs and customer service. We’ve already had a lot of interest in this brilliant new product and are excited about its potential.”
