Aguri Opens Its First Retail Showroom At Key Location For Truck Industry

Date: 31/01/2020

We are enhancing our sales and customer service operations with the opening of our first retail showroom at our new Aguri base in Trafford Park, Greater Manchester.

Our new site is close to the Trafford Centre and Manchester city centre, so convenient for car, caravan, motorhome and campervan owners looking for devices.

It is also close to numerous logistics businesses, fleet managers and commercial truck manufacturing companies based in Trafford Park, which is Europe’s largest industrial estate.

We have traded online since 2016 but have developed the new retail offer to enhance our customer service and opportunities to browse our full range of devices. Our growth into retail also forms part of wider investments at Aguri’s new Trafford Park HQ which include the expansion of technology-and-development facilities.

We have enjoyed strong growth through excellent products and customer service. In addition, our products have received positive reviews in a number of market-leading UK trade and consumer magazines, including Trucking, What Motorhome and Camping & Caravanning. Furthermore, the routing data platform used in all Aguri devices was recently ranked the world’s best – ahead of others used by firms such as Google, Mapbox and TomTom.*

Our new address is Unit 8, Guinness Road, Trafford Park. It has more interior and exterior space, including dedicated parking space, and better access for consumer and trade customers.

Steven Ballard, founder of Aguri, said: “Through opening a physical retail store, visitors can now see and handle the full range of Aguri devices and get helpful face-to-face advice from our staff before making a purchase.

We also have our complete range of GPS dash cams and speed trap detectors on display. Our staff are on-hand to offer expert advice and support. Visitors can be reassured there is no obligation to buy and no pushy, hard selling.

“Having more space has also enabled us to build a new technology-and-development department so we can provide a wider range of better-quality products and better, more-efficient customer service.

“We are also close to the Trafford Centre and Manchester city centre, which means we are handy for any car, caravan, motorhome and campervan owners looking to buy dash cams, speed trap detectors, sat navs or other devices.

“In summary, in addition to being able to service customers across the UK via our online and mail order services, we can now serve trade and consumer customers directly with the new retail showroom. Our hope is this will further-strengthen relationships between us and our customers.”

The new Aguri retail outlet at Trafford Park is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5.30pm.
